Navarre, FL to I-65, best route

We will be leaving Santa Rosa RV Resort later this week to head back home to VA. Leaving the park I must take Rt 87 towards I-10. Map shows 87 (with some route # changes) will take me north to intersect with I-65 near Evergreen, AL. Other option would be to take I-10 West to Rt. 29 north which connects with I-65. 29 looks to travel thru fewer towns, etc. Which is the better route?

Using 87 (and related routes), we did 41 from Brewton to 65 coming / going to Navarre vs. going up to Evergreen..... Very easy drive, and no traffic at all.

I hope you enjoyed SR as much as we did when we stayed there mid Dec-mid Jan.

I went up 87 to 331 to Montgomery to Birmingham to Chattanooga to knoxville and then straight up 81 to the northeast....there is a great campground off of 59 to 759...and not that far off of 59..called River Country campground..long pull thrus...depending on how far you like to drive another great campground off of 65 in Greenville,Ala is Shirlling park.....great city park with enough pull thrus....then off 81 in Tn in Baileyton...is the Baileyton Rv park...south of Bristol,Tn......would give you the mileages but, google map is not cooperating with me today....Chuck

We drove 87/41/31 up to I-65 and it was an easy and pleasant drive. Stopped in Brewton for breakfast. Nice break from the interstate.
