NB I-405 Closure in Bellevue 30 Sep 11
If you're headed north through the greater Seattle area this weekend, I'd recommend NOT taking I-405. All lanes northbound will close at 23:00 tonight (Friday 30 Sep) and won't open again until 05:30 Monday. The closure is from the NE 8th interchange through the SR-520 interchange.
That particular stretch isn't an easy one to do surface street alternatives, so it could get messy for bigger rigs with toads.
So far, this weekend is the only one being mentioned, but a new on-ramp from NE 10th to SR-520 is being built, and it's certain to take more than a couple of days!
