NE Connecticut to San Diego

Hi all,

In about a week I知 going to start making my trek to San Diego. I will only travel on weekends (I work during the week) and try to limit myself to about 500 miles a day. My first stop is currently planned as Ashland/Huntington (KY) KOA (with an overnight at a Walmart somewhere). I will probably only stay a week there and I was thinking of making the Ozarks my next stop for a couple of weeks. After that, I知 not really sure what I want to do. As I知 more motivated to make San Diego my destination, I知 not prioritizing sight seeing because I work during the week. However I generally will stay somewhere at least 2 weeks so I知 not traveling every weekend. I壇 prefer to prioritize easy traveling and shortest time to SD. It looks like it comes down to where I decide to go to 40 and/or 10. Also keeping in mind easy diesel stops as I only have a 75 gallon tank.
I know I知 ok with 500-600 miles a day - it痴 easy in the New Aire and I致e done it several times.
Suggestions? Thanks!!
