Need a good app with navigation for locating camp grounds

Hi Folks

New to Rv'ing. Leaving next week across country and traveling with 2 dogs. Are there any good apps that combine routing (navigation) with info on state parks and campgrounds along the route I can use on my smartphone or Ipad? I'm thinking the state parks might be better option for the dogs to be able to roam around a bit. We will just be needing over-nite stays while en route as opposed to staying in each spot for multiple days. We will be traveling approx 4 days each way to our destination and back home.

With my I-Pad I use Alstays. You can find it in the App Store.

I use both Alstays and RV parky. Also use Co-Pilot as my gps app and my smartphone and tablet.

Another option if you don't already have a GPS you will want one. The upper end have RV camping spots as part of their many RV related options, like fuel and it seems on and on and on.
My recommendation is the Garmin RV 760 with or without backup camera.

I was both a Controller and Air Traffic Supervisor at Washington ARTCC and Minneapolis ARTCC. First fifteen years at Washington, and the last seventeen years at Minneapolis. I retired in 2000 and have not looked back. It was a really fun and exciting job, but not for old fellows.

We also use the Garmon 760dezl with Life Time Maps.

We used to travel with our Black Lab until she passed. We never had any problem finding pet friendly Campgrounds. In fact more folks than not had dogs with them. Just keep them from barking, on a leash, and pick up after them.

A friend of mine used to say the engine wouldn't start till the dogs were on board.
