Need Info-- I-78 E and I-684 N

Fellow Travelers--- a few months ago I drove south from Boston to Raleigh by car. At that time I found portions of I-684 south and NJ portions of I-78 west to be pretty rough, even in my car.

This week I'm going north from DC to Boston in the MH, and I'm wondering if anyone has a recent report on the other side of those roads. The other route segments I have driven recently, but have not driven these in this direction in several years. I did a search, so I know RVThere drove some of I-78 east just a few weeks ago, but that's the only direct report I could find.

Specifically I'm talking about I-78 eastbound from I-81 to I-287, particularly the NJ portion; and I-684 northbound from White Plains to I-84 near Brewster.

Thanks much for the help!! Be safe!

There is road construction on I287 in NY near Tappanzee Bridge. While maybe 30 miles further, I prefer to go north on I87 in NY and pick up I84 from there around Newburgh, NY.

I go from the shore area on NJ, so go up the Garden State Parkway. Don't know condition of I287 north of I78 in NJ.

X2 with 84, we take it from 81 in PA to get home (45 miles west of Boston). Took 78 last year and it was no fun. Actually 84 isn't in great condition, but the PA, NY part has actually had some repairs.
