We will be coming in from the west on I20 and see on my mapping software road that would take us south and west of Atlanta (going to Jackson or precisely exit 201 On I75) but I am not sure if the bridge on SR 92 will hold 40,000 lbs. Can anyone help me with the weight rating of the bridge there? Many thanks.

Hi Mike,
Long time no see. Your best bet would be any truck stop before you get to that area. Also get the latest Truckers map book and in it there should be a listing for bridge weights or who to call.

Were heading north the end of April for a two week vacation. Will be back down in Tenn on either May 3 or 4. Looking for a place to live around the Crossville/knoxville area. Have a safe trip.

Thanks Jim. So you are moving?! Do you have a job lined up in the area? THere are a couple places I know that are looking for help. Buddy Gregg, Knoxville & Tennessee RV (old Foretravel) in Kodiak. Best of luck to your and Doreen. If you get a chance to stop by Sagon RV (exit 201) I 75 stop by and see us. I start work there on April 18th. Will have to go to Talledega end of April and 1st of May. Take care and stay in touch.

Mike,

If I read the Georgia State DOT web page of bridge postings correctly, it does not list a bridge at SR92 and if not listed the bridge is supposed to be good for legal limits for all trucks. Should be okay.
