Need Winter Route Advice

We are heading to Phoenix in Jan 2020 from Boise ID or Eastern WA and with this being our first motorhome we are concerned about routes and winter driving conditions. We would appreciate input from fellow RVers on winter routes and tips.

Watch the weather and leave when you have several good days. Make sure the campground you plan to stop at is open and be prepard to boondock for a night or 2 if needed. Find an interstate and head south.
