new to solo travelling - Florida to Az?

My name is Larock55,
I plan to travel from florida to Arizona all by myself. I would like to know what to avoid, I plan a stop to New-Orleans and to Vegas and Grand Canyon, then back to Montreal. Will leave March 13 for about 5 weeks. Any tips welcomed.

Sounds like a great trip!

Whenever I travel, I try to keep it low-key - not flash cash or make myself especially noticed. Be somewhat cautious about what you say to strangers.

You are planning quite a long trip! The only place I'd advise you to excercise caution is New Orleans. Certainly go and enjoy the Quarter, but stay aware of your surroundings and keep it low-key.

Hi and

Assume you are comfortable with driving and maneuvering your rig, if so, use the same caution you would when traveling by any other means.

Hope you plan on taking I 10 through NM and AZ, the desert is beautiful.
