New York New York

Our coach goes into storage at the end of this week after 8 glorious weeks. Then we fly home to Australia.
We are planning our next trip arriving Dallas on 15 th march
Destination Niagara Falls, New York, Boston and Washington.
Plan is to go straight to the east coast ( say Carolina's) then get to Niagara Falls 10th April. I'm looking for open suitable campgrounds with cabins as our kids are flying in then to join us.
Firstly am I mad to go that far north at that time of year. ( kids are desperate to see New York). What other pitfalls are there besides temps in the low 40's. Beside living with 2 uni grads and their boyfriends

I would think all the snow will be gone by 10th of April in the New York area so the roads should be clear. Traffic is by far the worst part of a trip to New York. Lots of traffic and long delays. The locations you mention are accessible with a MH but the traffic and tight streets may make for a stressful trip. Hopefully you will park outside the city and rent a car.

Just got back from Connecticut this week. Between the traffic, endless tolls and tunnels driving was anything but enjoyable and that was in a car.
