NorCal to Niagara Falls

Well I am about to leave on this cross country trip and thought I would post it here. We are planning to head east in a few days. This is the kind of trip that is a bit overwhelming trying to plan everything. So what I've decided was to head east on I80 pretty much all the way to Indiana then either towards Detroit or around the lake, staying in the US.What is the better option? We are in our 41' Motorhome towing a Jeep. Thanks in advance for any help, advice, etc. Ray&Deb

If you head up to Detroit and cut over to Niagara Falls, you won't be staying in the US.

Staying on 80 and then cutting over to 90 around Cleveland is your best route. Remember there are tolls through Chicago, Indiana, and Ohio on those routes.

Yes I realize we would enter Canada and we have our passports I was just looking at options. The wife was "advised" by a friend that the Canadian side of the falls is a better option. We have never been there so researching the rv parks it looked like more options on Canadian side just not sure if it is "better". The toll roads are not any problem other than having cash?

If you can get your hands on an EZPass, it would make life much easier and faster in the tolls. But cash still works!

We stayed at the Niagara KOA on the US side and took a shuttle tour that picked us up right at the campground. Maid of the Mist is on the US side.
