Never heard of Dillon Ga. Could you be referring to Dillard in NE Georgia. If so the major roads would be no problem. However I would stay off Hwy 246 that turns into NC 106. It goes to Highlands and has some very bad grades and curves. It can be don and I have done it in a class A with V10 but would never try it again.

If your are driving up from Florida just get on Hwy 441 in Georgia around Macon, GA and it takes you to Dillard. 441 is a four lane you won't run into any major hills until you get into NC heading to Sylva, NC and you'll be fine.

Really nice campground about a mile outside Dillard, River Vista Mountain Village RV Resort in the Great Smoky Mountains

Be sure to call, it sometimes fills up in the spring and fall.

Take the Lavonia exit Hwy 17 towards Toccoa which will connect to 441. Outside of Toccoa you'l take the bypass which passes a Walmart and Home Depot if you need any supplies. You're about 30 minutes out from there. I don't know how long you plan to stay but lots to see in the area in any direction. We found a back road from Wiley, GA that ran pass several lakes that reconnected to HWY 197 and to Mocassin Creek SP. It's very windy and definitely not a MoHo road at all. It is also a back way to Helen, Ga. Hiawassee is a nice area as well for a day excursion. If you are looking for a nice campground along I85 before entering GA there are several nice COE a few miles off I85, one of my favorites is Oconee Point.
