NY State Thruway (I87) NYC to Lake George

We will be traveling the Thruway shortly roughly form NYC to Lake George, and know that is has more limited access than most interstates, but has the service centers along the way. Are these service centers easy access for Gas rigs with a toad, or do we need to look for other options off the route or just ensure we fill up prior to getting on?

Any service centers / stations along the route better than others?

Thanks

Thanks, but just want to clarify. Not worried about parking, but easy in and out of the pumps with the toad (no backing up).

Yes, pull thru pumps, no backing, unless the driver of car in front, takes a stroll. Then you wait. But that happens everywhere, now days.

Thanks !

We have driven part of the thruway before, but never from the eye of a MH owner.............

Just remember taking a wrong exit heading N when we wanted to head S one time. Next exit was over 20 miles, so in the car, decided to make an illegal U turn on one of those emergency vehicle cross overs...... I'm sure I was not the first one to do that.
