I always attempt to transit through metropolitan areas prior to 10 a.m. on Sundays. Between ten and two on weekdays and very seldom on Saturdays.

X2

We went through Houston last year mid day and I don't recall it being any more difficult than other metros but I seem to remember members offering a route to bypass it all but can't remember what it was. At any rate I can't believe 10am on a Sunday is going to be a problem.

Be safe.

10 AM on Sunday should not be a problem UNLESS some of the local idiots have been playing bumper cars on the freeways. Or they have part shut down for repairs.

Check Houston Transtar Houston TranStar - The Greater Houston Transportation and Emergency Management Center for any road closures.

The traffic could be worse trying to take the 610 loop and the Sam Houston Toll road is EXPENSIVE and can be mess for large vehicles.
