Is this route OK for 40' towing Jeep? Looking like it might wind on the map. Jan

Janrm1: Hi. Hwy. 20 from Ontario to Burns (in fact all the way to Bend) is a fine route. Drove it a couple years ago. Mostly long flat with a few rolling hills and two lane good pavement (then). Sure wouldn't hesitate traveling that way with your rig. Steve & Lynette

I'll second Chickadee's comments on US-20. It's a good two-land road...not a problem for any size RV.

We, too, drove US-20 from Bend to Ontario last September. Pavement was fine. Nice road to travel.

Was just through there in an 18 wheeler having run it from the 22/20 split to Ontario winter/summer. Have to take the 22 to I-5 because of length 70'. There are a few rest areas along the way and some nice turn outs in the mountains. I have a favorite just outside of Detroit lakes.
