Never been on this road. We might take it in a couple of weeks, weather permitting.

If it snows is there a problem due to elevations?

It is curvy, meaning I will have to pull over often because cars are piling up behind us ?

Many thanks

We travel Oregon 42 often. If you are coming from the South, there is no need to go all the way into Roseburg. You can take Exit 112 to Dillard/Winston and pick up 42 there. The road is good with passing lanes and pull outs. It is a comparatively low elevation road, so snow is rarely a problem.
