Oregon routing: Cayonville to Newport

Hi Everyone:

Looking for suggestions on easiest routing. This weekend, staying one night at seven feathers and then driving to Newport. Wondering what route is best.

Thank you for the suggestions/help.
regards, pdq

Try Hwy 38 across to Reedsport. Regardless of which road you take be sure to check the weather report and road report. It could still snow in the Coast Range.

i-5 to hwy 20 is the most direct route. all routes are good if weather cooperates
if time is a factor remember 101 is a slow go with lots of small towns .

Pdq,

Glad the trip was good. You certainly took the best route. I travel that route quite a lot, and have tried others. It is the best of all of them, in my opinion.
