Oregon to Las Vegas - Hwy 95 or Hwy 93

Which road would be the better route for a 40' class A pulling a toad in early October?

We have traveled from Newport, OR through Vegas, using US 95 from Fallon NV a few times. Once they closed the road because of flash floods about 100 miles north of Vegas, and we dealt with very strong winds on one trip. The road is good, straight and mostly flat. A lot of it is boring!

Been both routes but my first choice has almost always been 95. We do I5 to 89 over to Susanville, through Reno, East on 80 to 95. Should not be any snow that early.

if you are in salem i would use mr preeces route hands down.
i think i have used every route there is over the years and going through susanville is the easiest and fastest

We are leaving from Salem and a few extra miles and time isn’t a problem. Don’t want to go down I5 as I’ve done that way to many times. If I do 95, I would go through Bend and probably Burns 20 > 78 > 95, but was also thinking of taking I84 to Twin Falls and down 93. I haven’t done either route was hoping that someone could tell which route is better and what the conditions might be.

From Twin Falls we took 93 to to US 6 to Tonopah, NV, then 95 south. Made the trip about 3 weeks ago. Good roads all the way.
