Palm Springs, ca. to Laughlin, nv.

I will be in the Palm Springs area and plan to head to Laughlin, nv. in April

I don't know weather to take I-15 to Las Vegas and over or go
I-40 then up 95.

I have a 35' Class A no tow car.

Or any other route that you have traveled. Would like to keep it good
roads and direct drive.

We'll be friends until I'm old and senile, then we'll be new friends.

Just did that trip. Rt 62 through Yucca Valley & 29 Palms to Amboy rd up to I 40 via Kelbaker rd. It's a good climb from Desert Hot Springs to Yucca Valley; expect that to be a very slow climb but doable. A small part of I 40 is pretty rough. I 95 north to 163. Or take Needles Hwy from I 40 direct to Bullhead city. Either way decent road should be no problem for you. Regards
