Can we have a pet inside the parks?

Yes, but both parks have restrictions.

Back in 1969 (the week that Sharon Tate was murdered and we heard the news in Zion), my family and our dog and cat camped at the Watchman Campground in an old canvas umbrella tent. As you could imagine, it was a crowded tent at night.

Our cat was "entertained" (or teased) by the ground squirrels, but he couldn't get out of the tent to get at them.

I noticed that the big RV park that everyone raves about (the name of it escapes me right now) in Springdale doesn't allow pets.

You must keep them on leashes and they can only be in campgrounds and paved areas. No trails.

And.. clean up after them!
