Philadelphia to Louisville, KY

Hi everyone. We are planning to visit our son and his family in Louisville this Christmas. We'll be making the trip in our 35' class a. There are several routes we could take but would prefer one without severe grades. Does anyone have a suggested route?

Thanks,

Doug & Dolores

We traveled to and from that area last fall. The PA Turnpike to I-70, I-672, I-71 route was generally "flatter" after the Somerset "S" turns.

We thought that might be the best route. Thanks for confirming.

The Penna Turnpike, to I-70 to I-270 south of Columbus, I-71 to Louisville. Besides the mountains in PA, the 2 mile hill in WV (Dallas Pike) is the only long downhill stretch you'll encounter.
