Prince William Sound cruise

We just got back from the five hour cruise by this company:

Prince William Sound Cruises: 26 Glacier Cruise | Phillips Cruises & Tours

Today was perfect weather and sea conditions. What a fantastic day! The boat is incredibly nice. The crew was great.....the wife and I have absolutely no complaints. We saw otter and seals, a bald eagle, lots of other birds and we also got to see two glacier calvings; one which was huge. We wish we had seen a whale, but they had no control of nature.

The drive through the train tunnel to Whittier is a unique experience. Vehicles go one way, then the other way then everything stops and a train goes through. Seward has a number of wildlife and glacier cruises that are also great. Finally, the Stan Stephens cruises out of Valdez are also just super. Just because you take one, don't think you've seen them all. All are unique and different and a great experience. Take as many as you have time for and can afford.
