Review of Lowry Grove RV Community in MN?

Has anyone ever stayed at Lowry Grove RV Community in St. Anthony, Minnesota?

I need to stay in the St. Paul area for over a week in July. I have a reservation at the St. Paul East RV Park but it's further away from the city.

I'd rather stay closer in if Lowry Grove is ok. The most recent review I found online is from 2012.

I have family in Minneapolis. I have driven by (and into) Lowry Grove ... it is really a mobile home park with a few RV spots ... the place seems to be well maintained and I think you would be safe there. It may take some good maneuvering to get into the sites ...

The location is hard to beat ... it is near the intersection of I-35W and St. Anthony Parkway ... there are signs on St. Anthony Parkway directing you. It is pretty amazing this is far enough away from the freeway and railroads that you should not be bothered by any noise. St. Anthony Parkway is a beautiful drive through the city ... parks, golf courses, etc.


I have never stayed there ... my daughter's church allows us to park in their lot so we dry camp there and use a dump station at an Exxon station on 694.

There are three county parks that have RV parking. One south of Mall of America (full hook ups ...I have stayed there) ... one east near Lake Elmo and one north near Coon Rapids (electric only I think ...I never stayed at either)

I know the state fairgrounds hold RV rallies on their grounds ... I do not know if they allow individuals to stay there when there is no event going on ...

There are two RV parks in the SW Minneapolis area ... at the casino in Shakopee and a place called Town and Country in Savage (I have stayed there several times ... nice place)
