Has anyone traveled I 10 in the last 6 months or so that can tell me how the road surface is through the southern states, looking Florida to Az Westbound as well as Louisiana to Florida Eastbound.

Thanks!

Was on I-10 all day today from Jacksonville to Al. No traffic and smooth as a babies bottom....

I10 from the 10-12 split to Highland Road and I12 from Baton Rouge east to Denham Springs are the pits. Construction, narrow lanes, lane changes, lots of traffic. Be careful.

Houston to AZ border is generally very good. A short stretch of rough road (1-2 mi) in NM at the I-25 split. 80 mph speed limit from west of Kerrville to El Paso county line.

I-10 is now very good. As mentioned, there is a part in LA that's not good but you can find that on any Interstate anywhere (especially toll road, go figure!). We have been going back and forth on I-10 since 2000 and it used to be really bad. Today the trip is "generally" very good.

Hey, Tom, you come through Houston, you need to stop for a visit. Traders Village is not too far from us.
