Road Conditions Nashville to PA Routes

We traveled to NY State last year I-71 from Louisville, KY to Buffalo, NY. This year we're towing motorcycles to ride northern PA for a week, and we'd like to go a different route. What are road conditions for motorhome (38 ft Allegro Bay FRED) towing on the following routes:

I-64 between Louisville, KY and Charleston, WV
I-79 between Charleston, WV and Erie, PA
I-80 between Akron, OH and I-79

I think the worst road I've driven was I-81 around Scranton, PA coming home last year! Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.

I live outside Youngstown and commute to Pittsburgh every day, plus I also make plenty of trips over to Kent State, so I see both of these routes pretty often!

Going from Akron over to 79, you'd probably rather take 76 East from Akron, which turns into 80 East right near where I live. (80 and 76 are confusing -- 80 is the OH turnpike until Lordstown, where it and 76 cross, and then becomes the "free" highway while 76 becomes the turnpike.) No real construction there, save a couple patching jobs from time to time, so you should be ok. Can't speak to 79 through that whole stretch, but I can tell you that from Mercer, PA (an hour south of Erie) down to past Pittsburgh, there are only a couple stretches of construction towards the northern part. I've gone through them at both low traffic and rush hour times, and they seem like they should be pretty passable for you.

Let me know if there's any other info I can provide.

On I65 I usually bypass Louisville by taking the Blue Grass Pkwy at Elizabethtown to Lexington.
The road is good, I also like I79 from Charleston to Akron area. Traveled in 2001.5 Discovery several times. No hassles.

We came through Charleston WV on I-64 about a week ago (7/5) and there was a HUGE backup of traffic going WEST (we were Eastbound) just east of the city - construction, merging, pothole repair, you name it. And this was around 9:30 at night. Who knows but that they might be working on the EB lanes when you come through...
Always remember, you're a unique individual - just like the other 7 billion people on the planet...
