There are four county parks near Madison that have RV sites. I have stayed at all four. You can make a reservation for a 2 night or more stay. Madison is in Dane County ... here is the website

Dane County Parks

The four parks are (ordered closest to Middleton) Mendota, Token Creek, Lake Farm, Babcock. I think all sites have 30 amp electric (some sites at Lake Farm are 50 amp). The sites are grass. They are roomy. Potable water is available. All have dump stations.

Thanks you for all the info, we have made reservation's for 5 days in Lake Mendota County Park! Going to take I-74 to I-39 to Madison to bypass the tolls and Traffic, adds about 50 miles, but I got the time...

Enjoy! If you find a gold men's ring with onyx stone, I lost one there in 1982.
