Roads

Has anyone traveled from Knoxville to Branson, Mo? How is Highway 65 in Southern Missouri to Springfield? For a 36-foot motorhome 13' height?

Welcome to IRV2.

We've been to Branson twice (from VA) and exited I-40 at Jackson, TN, took route 412 to Dyersburg, TN, I-55 North to Rt. 60. Rt. 60 West to Springfield, then Rt. 65 south to Branson. All good 4 lane roads except for a short portion of Rt. 60 that was under construction. That is probably all 4 lane by now.

We asked at Branson about taking Rt. 65 south from Branson to Little Rock but it was not highly recommended. That portion of 65 is pretty twisty...more scenic perhaps but slower going.
