Rockford il. To green bay, wi.

What is the best route around Rockford, il. Going from Bloomington,IL.to Green Bay, Wi.

Hello, I would run up 39 to 90 North then take 151 out of Madison which goes northeast to 41. You don't go thru Rockford it is all highway driving. You You will hit one toll leaving IL but the traffic isn't bad depending on the time of the day. I would not hit Madison during rush hour tho. 151 isn't a bad drive at all. We have driven it. 41 is pretty good road as well.

I agree with Richard on all counts. No tolls on that either. We did that route in reverse last year and enjoyed it.

Oh Dw reminded me to say. You must stop in Beaver dam on 151 if you like cheese. There is a great cheese shop Schultz's
Their parking lot is big enough to get a coach in as well. They will let you sample any of their cheese.
