Route Advice Please - Seattle to Prince George

Hi All,

We are currently in the Seattle area and are considering a trip up into central BC in our 43 ft diesel pusher towing an SUV. Google Maps shows the southern BC portion of the route to be Highway 1 to Highway 97 up to Prince George. How is that stretch for a rig like ours? Looks like lots of twists and turns. I can't tell much about the climbs and drops. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Matt

It's an easy drive with a big RV. We did it on our way to Alaska. We crossed at Sumas, WA which isn't extremely busy.

just did it last month. roads are all in good shape with very little construction on them, very scenic. we stayed a few days at williams lake to break it up nice little town.
we spent a week in prince george and felt we wasted several days, not much to see or do. we are in a 40 footer with a full size suv.

Not a lot of action in Prince George. Good for a couple days. If you have time, drive an extra few hours west on highway 16 to Prince Rupert or to Stewart/Hyder.
Some really nice scenery and a chance to do some world class Salmon Fishing. You will not regret it.

Google Prince Rupert Fishing.
