Route from Erie, PA to Seneca Niagara Casino

Later in the week we'll be taking our 40ft MH and toad to Niagara, NY by way of Erie, PA. We're thinking of staying at the Seneca Niagara Casino for a night while we visit the falls.

I'm looking for a good route that avoid low underpasses and the toll road. CasinoCamper.com has warnings about a low underpass at exit 21 off I-190. I've also read blogs warning of low underpasses on Rt 5 (and Rt 20? not sure about the Rt 20 roads).

Any help is appreciated.

Thank,

Keith

The route straight up 90 from Erie is fine (toll but in terms of steady rolling speed-may save fuel). On Grand Island there is a KOA which is a good point to stop and the casino is a nice 15 min drive on a parkway from there. Yes - the parkway is death to a motor home. You will decapitate! hope this helps- mark

Thanks. What route is considered the 'Parkway'?

Download and read the toll fare, it looks like 6.25 to me. We always bypass the NYT because they thing our 9500# coach has 3 axles (by definition it does not) so we just use Rt 20 and like it a lot.
