Route suggestions for Raleigh to Detriot

We are looking for routing suggestions and recommendations from the Raleigh, NC area to the Detroit area. We have a motorhome towing a car and this will be our first experience with real mountains.

This might span the Memorial weekend so we would just park somewhere for that Thursday until Tuesday to avoid the peak driving mess. So Memorial weekend suggestion on the route are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the recommendation. Are there any RV parks or camping along the route that you would suggest for a Memorial Day weekend?
