Going to Gaffney next week for M3 and Camp Freightliner. How's the best way from Knoxville to Gaffney with !40 closed? Thanks.

FlyFish: Last I saw they recommend I-81 to I-26, Asheville, then South to I-85. Looks to add about 50 miles to the usual trip across I-40. I've done 441 from Gatlinburg to Cherokee, a hard climb in a MH and slow & twisty. Hwy 129 is not suitable for RV or trucks.

We have an appointment in Gaffney for mid April. After the service we are headed for Windrock. We hope I-40 is open by that time so we don't have to do the I-26 to I-81 route.
