Rt. 15 and Rt.270 construction areas

I plan to take Rt. 15 and Rt. 270 on 12/27, weather permitting, and get onto 495 and eventually Rt. 95. I understand there is construction on both Rt. 15 and Rt.270. Can anyone can tell me if this construction will be active during the holiday period or will it be temporarily shut down? Is this a major project with long delays, that maybe I should consider another route. Any info will be appreciated, thank you.

We've been down through there several times and even in the midst of the construction it wasn't any worse than usual.
