Rt 17 from Brunswick GA to Tybee Island

We are goint to Tybee Island, GA from Brunswick, GA and wanted to see if we could take a more scenic route rather than 95 to get there. Rt 17 looks like it might be a decent route but dont know the area. We are in 44 ft Rv with toad. any help or better route would be appreciated. Leaving on Sat 9/6 Thanks

If you need a place to stay in Brunswick, GA, stop by CoastalGeorgia RV Resort; its nice and just off the highway. From there, a short drive to Jekll Island. It is big rig friendly.
