Rt 2 is likely the most scenic drive in Massachusetts. Its been some years since I've been through there. I'm not aware of any prohibitions, or even official warnings, but it is, in places, a fairly curvy road with some respectable grades. I know there's a well known hairpin about three miles east of North Adams, climbing the Hoosac. You might want to take a look for yourself at the sat photo on Google Map.

Meanwhile, I'm sure someone will jump on here who drove it last week, or close to it!

I have not traveled Rt 7 to Rt 2 in a long time. I did just travel from Troy along NY Rt 7 to Vt Rt 9 to NH. You can easily run that route as I did it in a 42 ft. It is a bit curvy and some ups and downs. Nice pull over view at Hogback Mt. It will take you to I-91S then south to Bernardston.

Make sure to stop at the Yankee Candle Factory.
