Rt 321 Tennessee

In Pigeon Forge right now & heading home (north) tomorrow. Friends want to travel from Gatlinburg back up to I 40 via Rt. 321. We have a 38' class A (no toad) and they have a 30' "A" towing a 4 down Tracker. Anyone know if this is a nice scenic drive for these units or will we have problems negotiating that road?

Thanks
Gene

you talking about 321 that goes back down to Marysville ?? Turning at light number three ?? We went up that way last week with a 33' Suncruiser and toad , can be done , very hairy in parts , best to run back towards Sevierville and hit 40 there ..

Several times we had to stop to let the opposing traffic pass to make the turns ..

OH IC you said north , so you may be going different from us , we got off 75 at exit 81 before Knoxville ...

Thanks JackHammr' yes, it's on the other side of Pigeon Forge, but I would think since it's higher in the mountains it's probably going to be even worse...I think we'll pass and go the safe way back! Thanks again.

321 from Gatlinburg is not a bad road. It is 2 lane but most of the route has a decent shoulder except for the last 2 miles. We did it in a 40' MH, in the rain, without any problems. A few tight curves but very scenic and MUCH less traffic than going through Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. I'm not fond of driving a MH through Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Don't take Foothills Parkway off 321 to I-40 though. Very twisty and low branches and a very narrow road.
