We're westbound on I-40 and not sure whether to take Rt.95 or Rt.93 by Hoover Dam to Las Vegas. I've heard about back ups at the dam.
Thank you!!

We went to Las Vegas last July via Rt 93 from I40. Unfortunately,it was on a weekend and traffic was backed up and very slow after being stopped for inspection a few miles south of the dam. Three weeks later we went back to I40 on Rt 93 during midweek and traffic was less so it didn't take as much time. There are backups in both directions due to vehicle inspections and highway constuction in both directions around the dam.

We came through the Dam last Sept., heading SE--No problem then, we were first in the RV section for inspection--moved quite fast.
