Hi has anyone run hwy20 from 84 out of Boise over to 97 down to to 1 5 to California in a big rig?

Yes we have. Hwy 20 is a good highway and very little traffic. Drive on the top half of your tank because towns are far apart. I'd suggest 20 to 395 to Lakeview and continue of 395 south into California (a favorite drive of ours). Or From Lakeview take 140 est to Klamath Falls and 97 south.

Don't know what direction you're coming from but Hwy 26 off I-84 is also a good highway. Take it to 97 south.
