Been there several times over the years and was there a couple of years back and things have not changed much.

Two campgrounds I know of is Holiday CG at the 75/24 split and Raccoon Mountain CG just north on I24.

I recommend Raccoon Mtn. and while there be sure to take the scenic drive up Raccoon Mtn. Just take a left out of the campground instead of the right to the interstate.

I'd second Racoon Mountain. Nice campground. We were there last year.

We were there last year and it's well worth the money. We stayed at Chattanooga Holiday Trav-L-Park and it was nice.

Ruby Falls has a new zip line attraction. Rock City has added a few new attractions as well. Of course in Chattanooga itself there is the Tennessee Aquarium, the River Walk, and a revitalized downtown.
