G'mornin ALL !!

Well, although we'd planned to hang a little longer here near Tampa/St. Pete, aged mom's health issues draw us back up toward Minnesota and we've planned to hit the road on Tues. 4/26.

HOWEVER. looks like it could likely be an eventful run. EARTHQUAKE over in Arkansas, lots of recurrent TORNADOES all along the route we'd planned to take (ie., Tampa to Montgomery to Nashville, to Peoria to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and on North to Mpls.), and, heavy FLOODING throughout the Tennessee and Ohio river valley areas......SHEEEEEZE!!!!....talk about a GAUNTLET!! Oh yeah, then, as if all this aint enough, we're lookin a SNOW once we get there!!

This is going to be a HOOT .

Just be careful. Plan detours just in case of problems on the path that you were going to take, and our thoughts will be with you.

Hi Steve,
If it were me, once I'm out of Florida, the in motion sat dome goes on all day long. It would be the wife's job to watch the Weather Channel. I'd make route adjustments accordingly. Consider getting the miles done as early in the day as possible. Then based on the Weather Channel determine the overnight stop.

Thanks for the advice. Never thought about "getting the miles done as early in the day as possible." Makes sense.

We've been monitoring the Weather Channel for the past few days. However, even this a.m. it doesn't look like any kind of weather break for awhile. Even running West past Mobile and North on I-55 to get around and behind the stalled front doesn't look good since stuff is still rolling ENE from Texas!! Oh well, we'll see.

Good luck on your travels north. Seems as though the weatherman changes his forecast on a fairly regular basis so I'd look at it as one day at a time. May the weather gods be with you
