Looking to visit in-laws in Clovis around Labor Day. Need advice on RV park for 2-3 nights. 50amp, full hookup, pull thru would be nice, but not necessary.

Try Oasis State Park. It's 6 miles north of Portales. The park is about a 15 minute drive into Clovis. We stayed there a week ago. They have 3 - 50 amp sites and about 20 - 30 amp sites. All the electric sites have water but no sewer hookups. There is a dump station on the way into the RV sites. Nice park lots of room.

JWomack -

It just so happened that we stayed in a nice rv park there in Clovis when heading back to Texas from the 2010 National Rally in Arizona!

There are two rv parks - one is on the west side of town and the one we stayed at is on the east side of town. The one on the west side had no sites available that night for two rigs (weary and worn from a days travel) but assisted us in getting sites on the east side of town at

K C's Campground
200 Humphrey Rd, Clovis
(575) 762-7000

KC's was a very well maintained rv park - easy in/easy out off the main road going through Clovis and the park staff was so accomodating. The site rate was about $25 per night. The sites were gravel (but level) and plenty of space between rigs.

Have fun on your trip and be safe coming back to Texas! Looking forward to
meeting you at the Leaderfest at Bellville in October!

Sandy

All, thanks for the recommendations. We had to change our plans due to some of SIL's family health issues, but will file for future.

Sandy, I won't know if we can make the Leader Fest until the last minute, but we are signed up for Cut N' Shoot in Nov. Look forward to meeting you there.
