Salt Lake City to Moab, UT in a class A

We will be leaving North Salt Lake City headed to Moab, UT in a 40' Class A towing a Jeep unlimited 4 door.

Does anyone one have any suggestions on the EASIEST route to take....we get nervous in the mountains so we're looking for the route with the least amount of ups and downs...

AAA routing takes us down I-15 to UT 6 to I-70....

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

The route I've taken is I-15 to Spanish Fork. Then take US 6 all the way to I-70 just a little West of Green River. Take I-70 East from there to Hwy 191 South into Moab. There are some mountains, but not big ones...............it ain't the Rockies.
The problem with this shorter route is that you will be going through several small towns.

That's the route I used in July. Not too bad, a few hills on US 6/191, but they have passing lanes and pull offs. I've never stayed south on I 15 to I 70, but it's 160 more miles. Even using US 50 from I 15 to I 70 it's 70 miles more than US 6.

We usually stay on the I-15 as long as we can to Scripio and catch UT -50 over to I-70. Last year the scariest part of the trip, was all the road works around SL City!
