Sequoia National Park

Everyone has been so great on the best route, campgrounds traveling to the west for us!!!! Got another question. What is the best route leaving Yosemite National Park on rt 120 going to Sequoia National Park? Campgrounds too! Driving a 34' motor home with toad. After leaving the Sequoia Nat. Pk we will be heading to San Francisco. Appreciate any suggestions!!!

After our visit to Yosemite, we left through the park West on 120, hit 41 south to Fresno. Took 99 to 198 east and used Three Rivers as a base for visiting both Sequoia and Kings Canyon with the toad. We did LOTS of driving.

If you've never been, being that close to the Canyon, it's a must see...it'll blown your socks off. We drove to the end of the canyon and had lunch - what a day trip!

It's too bad Sequoia can't be entered from the East off 395...that would be too easy from Yosemite.

You can take 222(?) off of 41 to 180 East, but that looked too slow and we were pressed for time.
