Southern UT to Brookings OR summer 2019

We're going to be in Southern UT at the end of May, 2019. I want to be in Oregon by July. Since we have a month I'm thinking about hitting Yosemite , Sequoia, etc. We will have travelled from TN to the Grand Canyon prior hitting Southern UT. Looking for ideas. Our game plan is to hit OR, WA, MT, and end up in YNP by early September.

If you're going to be in UT I would plan on visiting the "Big Five." The Nat'l parks of Arches, Canyonland, Capitol Reef, Bryce, and Zion. If you can't do all do some of them. Especially Zion and Bryce.

Thanks for the suggestion. We’re planning on Zion and Bryce. Has anyone driven 89-62-24 to Capital Reef?

That's a very easy route. If you're going to Bryce continue east on Hwy 12 to get to Capitol Reef. Gorgeous drive!!

We were just in that area after the Albuquerque Ballon Fiesta. Route 12 was an awesome drive despite it snowing at the high elevations. Some significant grades but not an issue as long as you don’t over drive the road. We visited the Big 5 and enjoyed them very much
