Springfield, MO to Kansas City, MO

How does the route of MO 13 out of Springfield to Clinton and MO 7 over to US 71 compare to taking I-44 to Joplin and up US 71 to Kansas City?

Good road with light traffic the several times I've driven it. Going that way again in June. Shorter too.

Having been that route, I'd agree with Chief. Take it and enjoy.
