Talking St John, NB to Cavendish, PEI

Leading three 45' motorhomes from St. John, NB to Cavendish, PEI. Once i cross the bridge, what is the best route to get to the KOA at Cavendish? Hwy 13 appears to the be the most direct, but not sure if it is a road that I want to take large motorhomes on. Can someone give me some help or recommendations?

Cavendish

I can't remember the numbers...but I always cross the bridge then go to
Crapaud and hang a left.

Roads in PEI are somewhat less than direct in most cases but route 13 is the the one where you take the left at Crapaud. Looks to be fairly sizable on Google Maps

Here are the directions to Cavendish Area as posted by one of the RV Parks there

From the Confederation Bridge:
  • Take route 1 towards Charlottetown (east).
  • After about 20 minutes you will arrive in Crapaud; turn left onto route 13 (north).
  • Route 13 will take you all the way to Cavendish.
