I am heading southwest in January from Va. Want to travel the southern most journey in Texas. Any suggestions on a route? Places of interest? Campgrounds? Onward to New Mexico & Arizona and lords knows where from there. 36' Journey with toad. Thanks for any feedback. Keith

I'd go at least as far south as I-40 to avoid any bad weather. VA and TN can get some ice and snow by then. Also might get some fog in the valleys.

I-10 would be better yet. It goes right into Houston.

Thanks for the feedback. For certain we will go south quickly, as of now and looking at straight to Mobile area.
Want to get over into Texas along the border and spend some time. Have you been to this area? Keith
