Temporary parking for a trailer?

As we plan our first cross country trip, we are planning on being vendors at a few farmers markets in cities in the western U.S. to sell our maple syrup but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out the logistics in a couple of places.

We plan to stay in camp sites with a travel trailer outside of the city where we will be attending a market the next day. The markets generally run from 7 or 8am till noon or 1pm so there are still a few hours that we can travel to our next stop. Is my only option to leave the RV at the campground/site or is there another option for leaving the trailer while we attend the market? Are there places that allow temporary parking of a trailer if our camp is on the opposite side of town that we are travelling? It wouldn't be practical to bring the trailer with us to the market.

I know it depends on the city but I'm just wondering in general.

I'd think if you check with the Farmer's Market operators they might be able to suggest a place to drop the trailer for the day. At first I thought of Walmart and other 'free' camping spots, but that's not what you need. Most venues of the type you describe will have an area of their parking lot set aside for vendors to park trailers or trucks.

Most vendor areas have a place for parking their RVs. Many travel from place to place.

That's a good suggestion about checking with the market master. It's worth a shot. Most of the markets that we participate in away from our home base are producer markets and people travel to the markets in their trucks from their farms. I've yet to see RV's or travel trailer but we usually do community markets around bigger cities in the mid-Atlantic. This fall we will be travelling through a few cities like St. Louis and Denver that we want to sell our syrup.
