If we get lucky with a bit of a warm spell a day before we leave then I will dewinterize and fill up the fresh water tank. That would be great.

If its cold then we will do the usual and keep the antifreeze in the lines.. De winterize at destination. We have a snow bank blocking our motorhome in our side driveway... Going to get the pick shovel and snowblower out this weekend and see what I can do to remove it.

Rick If the day before we leave is warm and it wont drop below 32 overnight, then I will fill up the fresh water tank.

If overnight temps are in the 20s I will wait.

First night we will probably stay at the Flying J in Wytheville Virginia... should be nice and warm there.

Well we will be leaving Toronto on the 6th of March for Florida on our first long trip in our new RV. Should be fun. Hoping the weather is going to be good so that we can take the I-79 route. The kids are counting down.

Thanks for all the input and hoping that we will come across some of you RV's on our way or down there.

Good timing that you are leaving on the 6th Thursday because they are calling for snow Tuesday and Wednesday.

I have to cancel tomorrows oil change appointment because of the snow we got today grrrrrr.

Im hoping Monday we have a big melt down
but they are calling for snow again Wednesday...

I wont travel on slushy salt ridden roads so we will wait for the window of opportunity next weekend. Saturday or Sunday, Monday at the latest.

Have a great trip!!!!!

Thanks. Monday it is. Spent hours clearing the snow today and had to chisel ice around the gates to get them open.... lots of fun....

Hopefully the snow will be gone when we return...
