Travel on Hwy 80

Can any one help me with road travel on Hwy 80 out of Montgomery, AL east to Macon, Ga. Is the road great for traveling in a motorhome. I'm trying to avoid Atlanta at all cost coming from Nashville. Thanks in advance if you have traveled this hwy....

Hi there RollinOn... I've used 80 in both directions for the same purpose... avoiding metro Atlanta. No problems, good surface, no low bridges or wires and while its not Interstate, its a four lane divided highway with few stoplights. Be aware of locals zipping across at the occaisional cross over. The route is excellent for linking I-20 to I-16.
