Headed into OK on I-44. Stopped at the 1st rest area welcome center. The lady there strongly suggested taking I-69 due to construction in Tulsa OK. The first part of the turnpike was pretty bumpy also. So we opted for I-69 with the possibility of taking I-40 west if we were not happy. I-69 was ok for the first half then there were some very bumpy areas south of I-40. I suppose it would have saved us about 90 miles if we had stayed on route into Ft Worth but we decided to head west to wards I-35 in the southern part of OK.

We wanted to stay at the Winstar Casino campground Sunday night. So we saved about 40-50 miles and maybe some time. The Winstar campground was very nice. The casino was nice but not to us. It took our money & gave nothing but a few hours of fun back. LOL We had a good meal at the Fish & Ale restaurant in the casino & the breakfast buffet was OK but a bit overpriced for what you got. Back to the campground after breakfast, did some laundry and packed up & left for Ft Worth.

Arrived in Ft Worth around noon and headed for the Campers World on south 35W. Parked the MH there for the day while we searched for an rv park for our 3 month stay. The internet does not give even a partial lising of rv parks in the Ft Worth area. We were quite surprised at the amount of parks & dealers in the area. Also the internet does not give the full pictures of the parks that are listed. One in particular had a great view on the internet website. We spent over a hour & a half traveling to one in particular after our GPS sent us around town to avoid a traffic jam, only to find the nice view, was of the farm field that was fenced off from the behind a gravel rv parking lot. No thanks.

We did find a very nice, well maintained RV park south of Ft Worth.

Thanks for everyones advice on our traveling route.
